A fun writing today.
We decided last week to start a small garden. My kids are seeing their flowers bloom and wanted to plant more things so they can grow. We planted herbs and vegetables last Thursday. It has been almost a week and we have many of the herbs sprouted and we have a few of the vegetables up also. Now, we are all hoping that the little black dog that has taken residence will stay away from the freshly planted items so we can enjoy the food that comes soon.
I have very little knowledge when it comes to gardening. When I lived in Nebraska, my parents planted our garden and my siblings and I would collect the vegetables when they were ready. This year I planted and am seeing what it takes to grow food. I have to praise the farmers that plant crop for our nation so we can have food. I didn't realize how hard it can be to have something to eat.
This year I want to challenge everyone to plant some kind of vegetable. I know a few people that have planted tons of vegetables. Like us we planted a small garden. You don't have to plant tons if you don't want to. Try just planting one vegetable. It is not to late. You can still reap the harvest of the vegetables. I am using this as a great tool for my children to learn from this year. They planted one vegetable a piece and have water them to take care of them. They are going to be so excited to be able to harvest from their plants. I think that I am more excited then they are at times. Enjoy the world around that God has created.

Thought of the Day...Weeding out the Bad
Actions speak louder than words. That is my statement of today. This statement has brought my thoughts together today. I don't know even where to begin with this so I will have to come back to it.
Another thing that is getting to me is the hate that I have been seeing with people. Why can't we love each other and quit picking fights with one another? If someone believes in one thing then let them believe it. That is who makes them who they are. Let us get back to the basics; Preach Jesus Christ crucified and let the Holy Ghost do the work that only God can do.
The hate that I see from people that are supposed to be followers of Christ is amazing me. I have seen this week a pastor's wife pick a fight with ladies and thinking that she was better then these individuals. I have seen parents turn their heads away from their children. I have seen life long friendships disappear in a minute because of small differences that no one wanted to work together on. Again, wow! Come on people. Let us get back to where we are suppose to be. Let us love one another. Let us bind together with our differences and do the work of God without putting our five cents in.
What is sad is that this won't happen and I must accept that. But it does change my view of people. I have decided that I don't want people in my life that represent these individuals because if they don't care about doing it to someone else, then they will do it to me. I don't want someone picking a fight with me about who I am. I don't have the time for drama. This means that it is time for weeding. The Lord is weeding out all of the things and people in my life that is not going to help build me up. I am okay with it. It is not hurting me at all. I am actually happy that he is doing the work. My goal in life is to live a closer life to God and to do is work that way that he wants it. I can't do that with people around me that are not focus on the same thing.
So as this week comes to a close, I know that God will be finish with the weeding so we can move on to the next step. I don't have time to waste because I am getting ready to do something big in God. Because of him great things are fixing to happen and I want to be part of it all.

Thoughts for Today.....
I have been thinking about everything that I have been seeing around me. From people to their actions, some of it have gotten on my nerves and others have inspired me. A lot of what I have been seeing has had me talking to God about it. Here of some of things I have come to.
First, make sure you know what you are saying. The other day I heard someone talking and the person that answer them had a great answer but the problem was that the answer didn't go with what was being spoke about. Wow, it amazed me that people really don't listen to what was said. I even had this going on with my kids. My son came to me and said that his sister wasn't letting him clean his mess up. She pushed him out of the way and told him not to do it. But he wanted to do his job. So I called my daughter in and told her that my son wanted to tell her something. It took about 10 minutes for her to really listen to him and understand exactly he was saying.
Next, I have been seeing a lot of people being hurt again by the economy troubles in America. The government is telling us that things are picking up and everything is getting better. But this month alone I have seen people lose their jobs and are going to go on unemployment. I have see people hope that they have enough gas to make it to work. I have seen people not knowing what to do about their housing expense. Don't tell me that the economy is getting better. The only time it is going to get better is when we don't depend on the government and we start depending on God. So, you that are hurting I want you to know that I am talking to God about this and he has show me that things will get better. In the months to come great things are going to happen for everyone that believes in him. And if you don't believe then he is still going to show you who he is. Greater Things Are Yet To Come....
Lastly, has God promise something to you for this year? I know that he has for my family and I. Stand on it and make it a reality. What I mean about that is start walking in the promise that he gave. I am writing the vision. I have started writing everything out and making sure that every detail is covered. So when the promise comes I can act on it fast.
Love you all today and hope that you keep the faith. God is about to do his greatest work in you, just believe it. Have a great Sunday in God's presence.

Reflection
I loved my weekend. Happy Mommy Day started on Saturday and finished on Monday. It was great. My kids and husband took me to O'Charley's in Tupelo. We then went to the mall so the kids could play on the playground for a while. Afterwards went shopping and home.
Sunday I got up and everyone got ready to go to church. The kids were so excited to go to Joey's church. After church we went to Rhonda's grave site. The kids enjoyed the experience of seeing the site. Sad that she wasn't here but felt like healing had begun in my life from her not being here. A couple stops for food and gifts we went over to Debra's and Johnny's for lunch. Food was great and the kids enjoyed the outside time. Glad to say that no one came home with rashes from the yard. Then we went to Target and I finished my Mother's Day shopping for myself and went home.
Monday was still an easy day. A great visit with Scott and Tam. Missed seeing them. To top it off we started a fan page on Facebook for Jonathan's Scentsy Business. I am so excited to get this business up and running. Not only can I make money but I can give others a great opportunity to enjoy fragrances that help you remember great memories.
It is going to be a great week and I am ready to start what God has for us.

My Celebrity Moms
I got on the computer this morning and on the homepage that my husband has it was showing celebrity moms and their children. The night before the same thing: celebrity moms and their children. I decided that I am sick and tired of seeing celebrities get praise for something that they should already be doing, being a mom. So it made me think about all the moms that I have had contact with recently and I wanted to share how great that they are. I want to share the celebrity in them.
Aunt Jill in Knoxville: To me she is a celebrity mom because of what type of mom she is. She has many children, 7 or 8, I lose count some days. Most of them have some kind of special needs. The other thing that I see when I look at her is how she has adopted all of her children except one. I am proud to know her. She has inspired me on raising my son with special needs. She also has inspired Jonathan and I about one day maybe adopting a child and give that child a home where they can be loved. If there is any celebrity status that she fits into she is in it. How about her being an 'A Lister' Celebrity? You are in my book, Jill.
Another mom that I look to is actually my sister, Brianna. What makes her a celebrity in my book is how she loves her children. She protects them like a lioness would her young. I am also so proud of her because of how she has taken her life from nothing and made it into something. She has grown into being a great mom, friend, and inspiration. She is a person that should be respected by many. Love you, Brianna.
Many people don't know my past and where I came from. Today I share a little. The next mom I would like to give celebrity status to is my mom. When I was young my mom was on welfare and at one point lived in her car because of domestic violence. But through all of what happen, she worked her way off of welfare, got college behind her, and made life better for the ones that she loved the most, her children. She raised us to believe that everyone is created equal and that the only thing that makes us different is not the color of skin but by our works. She encouraged us to be hard workers and to respect people. Thank you, Mom for giving me values that have made me a better person.
Another mom that has been part of my life recently is my mother-in-law, Debra. When I look at this celebrity mom I see someone that tries to balance her life for the moment. She made a comment to me in this past year that she lives by the moment. Whatever happens in her day she takes it a runs with it and if something changes she quickly changes with it. I also see a mom hurting with the loss of her only daughter. But she doesn't stop. She is doing things to keep going and to reach other people. Recently when I look at her, she has taken an interest in her family and you can tell that she is living every moment like it could be the last. She treasures all of her grandchildren. They are her jewels. A big hand clap to Debra for her love for life and for being a grandmother that is loved the most in the world.
I am going to pick just one more mom. There are many mothers out there that I can talk about but that could take me days and I wouldn't be able to type it all. This next celebrity mom that I want to make notice to is my friend, Josie. We haven't spent any time together since I moved from Arizona. But the reason why I picked her is because she is a great role model for her children and for the children around her. I am proud to call her friend. Recently I read on her Facebook about how many years it’s been since she found the Lord. I have watched her over the years, which have been many and she still believes in what she believes in when I met her. She stands firm on the word of God and what God wants for her life. She has made God every part of who she is from how she dresses, how she speaks, and how she acts every day. She is raising her children on the same beliefs and is a light to other children and families for who God is. She is a role model to me and how I should be and how a woman of God should be. I am blessed that I can call her friend. Thank you, Josie, for being the perfect role model of how a woman of God should be. You never know how much you have impacted my life and others that have come in contact with you.
These are just a few of moms that I wanted to give celebrity status to. There are many more around me. If you are a mom that wants to better yourself, you are a great role model for your children and want to better the world around you then you are a celebrity in my life and I am so glad that I know you. This weekend while we celebrate moms let us also not forget the moms that have passed away and children growing up without them. For their children, we don't have to be a mother figure to these children but we can be a role model to them or a mentor to lead the children into what God wants them to be. Rhonda, you are that mother. In the time that you spent on this earth you have impact so many lives. I am amazed at all of the things that you had accomplished. When you set your mind to something you were going to do it. There is so much that your little ones don't even know about you but I know that your husband will let them know and make sure that they will never forget you. Love you. Have a bless Mother's Day everyone.

So happy....
I am standing on the promises that God has told me at the beginning of this year. I have been reminded almost daily for about a month, maybe a month and a half. Today I was singing with my daughter, Savannah and all of a sudden God spoke to me. It brought tears to my eyes. This overwhelming feeling. Pure joy is what I felt. He spoke good things to me and showed me a vision of what he was talking about. All I still have to say is WOW! You are a great God and I am so glad that one day I decided to follow you. I still will not turn back and I am walking forward with determination to see the promises become a reality. I am excited and can't wait to see people bless and have a life changing experience because God was using me as his vessel. All I say to God, "You can use anything Lord you can use me." God bless you tonight and I pray that God touches your heart with a refreshing.

Friday....Thoughts on my mind
My waiting continues. Can today be the day? Patience is hard to have when you know what you are waiting for is so big. Looking around everything is set up and ready. My family is lined up for what is to come. Everything is lined up. So when there is nothing to do, we stand still and look around. I would love to hear the sound of a rushing and mighty wind that will leave what I am waiting on. I see the signs everywhere. I see and hear what others are saying, is that the rushing and mighty wind? Could what others are saying none stop be the wind that I am waiting on? I believe it is so where is the promise? In the Bible when they were waiting on the promise of the Holy Ghost they heard the rushing mighty wind. When it came everyone in the building receive the Holy Ghost and then they were marked, with clover tongues on each of them. Today can be the day where we see what is promise become physical in my hands. Just a thought on my mind. I know that it seems like I didn't finish but that is because this post is going to need a TO BE CONTINUE...Next post on this subject will be about the promise that has come to pass. Be ready to read what happens.
